Barn Conversion Beams

Barn Conversion Beams

In this case, the client hired us to strip back and transform the wooden beams in this barn conversion.
Wooden beams are often the center of attention in barn conversions. As they are both beautiful and functional, these beams are often left untouched, but sometimes they need to be stripped back or even transformed.

They asked us to make sure that this barn had the same rustic feel as its predecessors but with a more modern twist.
We stained the beams to match the dark paneling on the walls, creating a seamless transition between the two contrasting colors.
We used only the highest quality supplies. Our main goal was to keep it natural and sustainable.

We wanted to give people an opportunity to live in a space that feels like home without compromising quality.

We used low-VOC paints and materials throughout the area. Using a dustless sanding system that allowed workers to work without the worry of sending dust into the air.
It’s not just the workers at risk of developing respiratory problems when working with sanding dust. The dust can quickly spread to other parts of the environment, disrupting the ecosystem and putting wildlife in danger.

After this remarkable result, the customer wanted all the beams to be done.
